She dismounted the stallion, straightening out her black cloak and dress when she stood straight on the ground beside him. It was about time that she made a stand. After all, the world needed some sort of interest. It was much too boring the way things were now.
Even though Callista had just gotten here recently, she had a feeling good things would come from this visit. She walked forward into the castle as her horse followed closely behind her. She slid the hood of her cloak back so that her face was free from the shadow, and looked around, hoping somebody could help her.

(not ruling council but this will do.)
Having finished his rounds at the barracks Benjamin was now patrolling the great castle of his beloved city. The Castle was rather quited today though and the season soldier was getting a little bored. He never lowered his guard but it was dullwander the castle with nothing to do.
He made his way down to the entrance hall and noticed a young woman standing there. Curious he made his way to her. the sound of metal on metal and boots on marble echoing through the hall as he walked. "Hello Ma'am do you need assistance?" He said watching her carefully.

What's up with everyone parading around in such heavy armour? she thought to herself, watching as the man walked up. She took a deep breath, and was unsure of what to say at first. Nobody has ever asked her a question in that way before. After a moment of thoughts, she finally answered, "Yes, might you know who I can speak to, to begin a guild? I have a cause that others likely have as well. I need to do some networking, and find those who would be interested." she explained, hoping this man would know exactly how she could do this, or if he knew some people he could lead her to.

He listened and to her question and thought on it a moment. He knew At east two of the people associated with promoting guilds. Actualy he knew all of them but only two of them he knew well enough to give advice about. "Well It depends on what kind of guild you thinking of putting together. Give me more information and I may be able to at least point you in the right direction."

Callista nodded, thinking for a moment before responding, "Well, I doubt it will be approved by the law. It's not a guild of thieves or anything, but it's not a guild of fur trade either. It's basically just to keep wrong-doers in check. Do you know what I mean?" she took another moment to think over her words, then finally said, "It's the Guild of Wolves. We'll keep things fair between both rich and poor. I'm not entirely sure how to explain it."
She finally left it at that, hoping the stranger would have some sort of idea of what her guild was about. Of course, she would go into more depth and detail if she had to.

The first sentence of her response made Freed instantly suspicious. He WAS the law as far as he was concerned. It was his troops that defended the kingdom both inside and out. ANd he thinking it might rub against the Law made dislike the idea. But as she went on he sort of understood what she was saying, but... "What do you mean by keeping it fair between the rich and the pore. Last I checked we where capitalists. Sure its tradition to follow your parents line of work, but there are exceptions here and there. The less fortunate have as much chance to reach the top as any one else."
However... You said you where interested in keeping the wrong doer in check I can probably help there. I would speak with Lady either or Lord Lockhart either way I would like to listen in on this matter I am the general after all and I'll be damned if something that may effect the law of this city doesn't run by me first. Now explain more as I lead you to one of the patrons. He said, turning on his heal and beckoning her to follow.

Callista followed him, thinking for a couple minutes before saying, "Alright, here's a totally different way to explain it." she said, taking a deep breath before continuing to explain.
"The Guild of Wolves can be a certain type of mercenary guild." she said, watching his reaction. "Like, instead of practicing on team strategy, the Guild of Wolves will mainly focus on individual skill development as well as highly refined infantry tactics and strategies. You know what I mean? I'll have to figure out a way to reward the members, but that'll come later." she took a breath, wording her next words carefully, "Those who are interested in becomming a highly trained, highly skilled fighter would be excellent in this guild. If they have trouble listening to others' ideas and advice, then it's definately not for them."
Callista knew he would be confused in the different explanation, but at least now she knew exactly what she wanted to put together.

She had been called to the castle in need of her counsel with a couple situations that had come up in the castle courts. She had freed a man for stealing bread (a tedious court case, she wagered) and knew that if he was hungry, he should be able to eat. To the man selling the bread, she gave him a gold piece and told him to drop the case. "If a man is hungry, should he not eat? We are all the same in this great Kingdom and I see no need for a piece of bread to be brought to court. The guards can take care of it within the streets." ... The next case was of a child who had killed his father. It was a hard case for Tiy... she had a soft spot for children, but no mercy for killers. The child could not have been a day over fourteen and he had pushed his father from the top floor of the farmhouse. Tiy looked up, making a hard choice after thinking for a moment. "Do you regret what you did? Do you realize that your mother will have to work twice the amount she did just to survive? Or she may have to re-marry."
The kid hung his head and began to cry. She knew that he was sorry, but he had to be punished for what he knew he had done. Tiy felt bad but nodded to the guard to gently take him to prison for some time. The judges and lords all nodded, agreeing that she had settled them well and she left without waiting for them to come talk to her.
She pinched her purple skirts down by her knees and pulled it up as she descended the stairs. She made it to the entrance of the castle and a servant came to her with a glass of fresh wine. He had been making wine for some time and was waiting for the perfect batch to present to the lords and ladies of the kingdom. She took up the glass with a smile and asked him what the secret was and then took a sip. He told her that he had used the grapes and such but added a pinch of orange. She smiled and nodded as her eyes lit up. "Oh, it's just perfect, dear sir! This is what you should present. Very well done! My compliments." He nodded, smiled, and walked off, taking her glass with him.
She heard voices and looked down the second flight of stairs to the door where she saw the general and a young woman walking towards her. She smiled to the general and then waited for them to come to her.

Those that wished to be highly trained warriors would do better to join the military. Though he had, for some time been wanting to make a more civilian branch. Maybe this could be his chance. "We'll see what we can do" It was then that he saw Lady Lockhart. He inclined his head. "My lady, how are you today. This woman was looking for a council member. She wanted to see about starting a guild. What she has discribed to me sound like it may be a military matter so I would like to be in on this conversation.

"Military?" Callista raised an eyebrow, "I don't want it to be that serious or high security. The guild of wolves is a place for civilians and others alike to become part of, to be able to advance themselves without the expensive training or guards yelling at you all the time." she said, standing very still when Tiy Lockheart walked up. Callista was obviously uncomfortable with authorities, but she forced herself to stay calm so that they could discuss her guild.
