Malachy turned bowed to Lady Lockheart. "I would be delighted to join you my Lady." He said. He turned to the boy. "If what you've said is true, about your guild's intentions about magic. I would hope you succeed. The gods know there are some ignorant people in this kingdom that could use a little education, but enough of my rambling let us head to the garden courtyard. I could use some tea."

Tiy was delighted as she settled down in the chair with three of her new found friends around her. They were mainly talking about business, but it was still time spent together. Malachy agreed to join them, and she was even more delighted. She motioned for the other two men to be seated as she looked across the table at Kael'in as he settled down all right and asked her about if she had hears something about the guild before. She thought for a moment and then thanked the servent as they set the tea down with four cups and cream and sugar and then scurried off. They knew that they were not allowed to listen in on business between the leaders nor the leaders and associates.
She shook her head lightly. "I do not believe I have." she heard Malachy speak. "Well said, Malachy." she nodded to him and then looked over at the two other men. "I do believe I told you about my friend here, Malachy. He is the one I wanted you to show the..." she looked around and then laughed as she said. "the you-know-what to."

[OCC: sorry this post is a little 'flat', but my muse may be on vacation at the moment lol]
Kael'in smiled at Tiy's friend and replied "yes, thank you." He really had no idea how to respond, but felt he had to say something. As it came out of his mouth, he realized it might be a bit abrupt, but nothing he could do about that now... He just hoped that with his smile it would be clear that he was not trying to snub him. "I'm Kael'in by the way, and he's Dar'ian" he continued as he realized he'd not introduced himself. "Nice to meet you"
Kael'in smiled at the servent that brought the tea. Tiy's next comment had him intrigued.

Malachy sat down and thanked the servants. Then turned to the conversation at hand. "What exactly is it That you wanted him to tell me? I'm all ears." He said looking to Kael'in. "And don't worry about me, I'm actually quite open minded. And I'm as good as a dead man at keeping secrets, speaking of what are we allowed to know about your friend, Mr. Flamewind." Made it clear that he knew a bit already. Malachy could sense auras and he could tell that Mr. Flamewind was not human.

Dar'ian grinned. "Yes, I'm a dragon. I'm surprised you noticed...Most people don't"

(ooc: Geez is every one loosing muse?)
"I notice many things that most humans don't, but my question still wasn't answered. Tiy just said there was something she suggested you talk to me about earlier." He noticed that he knew more about them than they him and decided he might as well solve a bit of the mystery. He sent out a mental call for one of his own Servants that was roaming the castle.
"How about I tell you a bit about myself. I'm a priest of an ancient order that worships balance. I've come to investigate a strange imbalance it would seem that the religious group of this kingdom wants nothing to do with magic and has resorted to violence to extinguish it." It was then that the door to the garden opened and closed, and odd foot steps where heard walking towards them. "I, like lady Lockheart here practice magic, however my brand is usually considered a bit dark." He nodded to the being that has just walked up behind the others,
When and if they turned to see what it was they would find and average sized human, minus all but his bones standing there. "This was Bob. Not too sure about his entire history, but I believe he died of the plague a few years back. He's back under my control and has happily agreed to be a defender of this castle to make up for what little life he had when he was sick." He let the idea of an unliving skeleton standing there, sink in, and awaited a response.

[Occ: Done]
Kael'in listened to Malachy explain a bit about himself, and that made him a little more comfortable. It made him comfortable in telling him about his find. It actually made him a bit interested in the man. "You're a necromancer?" He'd never understood why people found it scary or uncomfortable when the found out something like that. Smiling, he continued "I'd love to learn more about this form of magic, it's so rare..."
Getting back to the topic at hand, he explained that he looked looked for magical artifacts, particularly one's from the war. Telling him that they'd found a collection of those cube was in the ruins near the border. "Neither of use could read the writing on it, actually I never noticed that it was script... Lady Tiy said you might know. Any luck?" he said with a grin, and continued, asking that if he could read the script, maybe he could help decipher a few things in the ruins. He'd told Tiy before that he'd be out of town for a bit, because when she'd pointed out that it was a script on the cube, not purely an artistic design, he'd gone back to the ruins to check the rest of the stuff there. He'd noticed at the beginning that the design was very similar on everything, and assumed that the same mages or inscriptions -for lack of a better word- had made them. Rechecking the finds, he realized all of them had the same style of text. Slight variations in it told him that the meaning/words inscribed with different. He hoped that deciphering the script would be of help to figuring out what some of the things truly were...
He also realized this might be a good time to explain their guild's 'hidden' goal. It wasn't exactly hidden, as they really made no secret of it from people that they thought would understand it, but they didn't exactly 'shout it from the rooftops' either. It was the location and destruction of magicked artifacts used as weapons in the Great Mage War. It is meant to protect the world from another such devastating event as the destruction of nations through a war fought with powerful magical weapons. The weapons still remained lost at the moment, and the guild's goal was to prevent them from ever falling into the hands of rulers again.. The only way they can prevent that, was to seek out and destroy them themselves. The guild had a un-named branch of treasure hunters, historians, retired thieves, and anyone who was good at tracking and retrieving rare objects. Many of the people didn't possess any form of magical ability and were simply paired up with someone who did. The guild made sure that any people who joined were ethical enough to trust with destroying any finds of immense power.

Malachy took the cube and examined it. He didn't recognized the script and concluded that the Scribes, who ever they where had meant it to be that way, but Malachy had an idea. "I can't read it, but I bet I could find some that could. It would only take a few minutes in the place where you found it. I'm pretty sure that the scribes would be able to read their own work." Of course, said scribes where probably dead but death wasn't much of a barrier for a Necromancer.

(ooc: tis all right hun)
Tiy watched them chat and she sipped at her tea. She found it fascinating that his friend was a dragon, but she admired his skill in keeping a human form. She listened as they talk amongst themselves and then called for a servent to bring them some food for dinner. They told her it would be a little while and she thanked them. She was quiet enjoying herself and time was all she wanted with her new-found friends.
