Sakura smiled. "That'd be great. I haven't had much luck alone. Not sure how long it will take, though. But at least I'll be able to see new places and know my way around."
She then finished up the rest of her food and drank some water. She checked her inventory to see if she had any food left. There wasn't much; just some bread and jam, two pieces of jerky, a green apple, slice of carrot cake, and a sack of stale crackers.
"Looks like I need a trip to the market place," she said, tying up her pack.

Horu nodded. "Well for that you'll need money. I say We sell this hide. and maybe some of the meat. Or trade it for the supplies we need. And if my memory serves me I believe that the Kingdom of Avaren is only a day's hike. I'm sure that we can find what we need there."

"A day's hike?" Sakura blinked. "Well, I think this food will last long enough...if rationed. Know of any clean streams I can fill up my canisters?"
Sakura brushed a strand of her icy blue hair away from her face and began to put things back in her pack. She didn't take her tent down, just in case Horu's plan was to proceed tomorrow and not today.
"So, do we leave now, or wait 'till first thing in the morning?" she asked. I think he should lead, he seems to know what he's doing and where he's going. When we get to Avaren, I should also buy myself some weapons.

Horu nodded. "No stream that i know of but there is a lake half way between here and Avaren We will have to go around it anyway. We can refill our skins there. It will be nothing to purify, the water once its collected so it won't matter how clean the water is." He explained. The only reason he knew where things were was because he had came into the forest from the mountains and had seen the lay of the land on his way down.
"Well its getting a bit dark to be traveling any more tonight. Wolves are not the worst this forest has to offer it would best to rest now and move on at first light." He explained.

"Yes, that does sound like a good idea." Sakura nodded. "I'm a bit tired myself. I have a tent to sleep in, but where will you sleep?"
He can't just be sleeping out in the cold! That fire won't stay lit forever. And the ground....I am sure it is very uncomfortable.
She began to set up inside her tent to go to sleep. There she laid out her blankets and her pillow. It wasn't as comfortable as a real bed, but it'll do.

He grinned at her concern for him. "My traveling cloak will keep me warm enough. Besides i plane to keep watch most of the night anyway. You get your rest." He didn't need as much sleep as she did he was strong enough. He would keep the fire low enough to sleep with but bright enough to keep away the more sane animals.

"Alrighty!" she said, smiling with closed eyes. "I'll be off to sleep now. See you in the morning."
Sakura said her prayers silently in her head before bed, then she laid down.
This man is really nice. It's good to have company when you're traveling. Maybe with his help, I'll find Lia! Oh, I pray she's still alive!
After about 30 minute she nodded off to sleep...

Horu kept his word through out the night The noble warrior watched over the Small campsite. Only leaving once, and not wandering off too far. to find some fresh wood for the fire had dwindled down to glowing embers. He relit the fire with his breath, and he waited silently for morning.
Somewhere in the night he nust have nodded off because he was suddenly waking up to a new day. the fire was now just a smoldering pile of ashes, but its seemed that all was well for now.

Sakura tossed and turn slightly as she slept in her tent. Strange dreams had plagued her the entire night. She moaned as she struggled in her bed, then she opened up her eyes. Sitting up she yawned and rubbed her eyes. "Is it....morning already?"
She stretched out her arms and looked around. It was kind of hard to tell, since this is the dark forest, and no light shines through the thickness of the trees.
