Physical Appearance; Rather short for her age, she stands about 5'6, weighing at one hundred fifteen pounds. Her hair, black with a slight indigo tint, is often pulled back in a knot on her head, or loose to fall just past her shoulders. Martel wears a lavender tunic, with black shoulder gloves under lavender gloves. Her tunic is worn over a white undershirt, the tunic bound shut at the hips with a pale pink belt. She wears black tights, with the tunic falling to her mid calf.

Her eyes, slightly narrow, are dark hazel, with arched brows. Her skin is lightly tanned from working outside the tavern, and her face, like the rest of her, is rather thin.

Personality; Cheerful and friendly, she finds ways of avoiding questions without letting the questioner know. She loves people, but doesn't like people getting to know her. Martel can be rather blunt, and never hesitates to tell someone what she thinks of them.

History; Where Martel came from and who her relatives are is pretty much unknown, although she has spouted about a younger brother once. She showed up in Avaren a few years ago and has been running the local tavern, The Silent Knight, ever since.
