- A sword. Looks like a cross between a long dagger and an extremely short sword. Ornately decorated hilt and a inscription (in a really obscure language) on the blade. Was her fathers, something he always took on trips to protect himself. Has the ability to enhance magic.
- A small ruby necklace with a gold setting and fine gold chain. A family heirloom which her mother never took it off when she was alive.
Key Points in Her History:
- Erika's family was killed in a freak accident during a bad storm, when she was seven years old. The only other surviver of the accident in her family was her twin brother.
- She sustained a head injury in the accident and was lost any memories of before the accident. They resurfaced when she was 15 years old.
- She and her twin brother were separated during the chaos and he ended up in another city from her. She realized he is alive when she was 15 and is obsessed with finding him.
- She had been cared for in the city her family had always lived in, and her brother was assumed dead, though no body was found. She inherited the family wealth. Considerable, as her father was a successful merchant.
- Influenced by the accident, she has decided to train her mage gift in such a way as to use it for healing instead of battle. She is still proficient in combative magic, but her focus lies in healing.
- She travelled to Avaren after hearing rumours that her brother had been found there. To her disappointment, it was because he was convicted of murder and an escapee. She hopes to follow clues of him, and the best place to start is Avaren.
- She is rescued by a mage about her age, when she sets off a hostile spell near the ruins he is studying. She finds out he's from Avaren and very little else about him. She is interested in meeting him again.
- Arrives in Avaren when she is 16 years old. Quickly grows to like it.
