This couldn't be it just couldn't be. Bahamut would never have blessed such un worthy beings, being that would attack without reason, wthout being attacked first. Attacking to kill rather than defend. The eyes Dante looked into where a mix of anger and confusion. He pulled the sheild from his back and drew his blade.
There was only one possible explanation. Because Taimat The dark one despised humans and everything about them and would sooner devour her own eggs than Create a dragon born. They had to be betrayers. They had once been noble. and then after being blessed turned from the light. Such rejection was a slap in the face. Horu would not stand for such blasphemy, He Left the monk's side and went to the one that had spoken. He placed the poit of his sword at the Dragonborn's neck. Waving his hand he forced consciousness back into the creature's body. "you will give me answers and maybe they will save you wretched scales." He said with obvious anger.

Dante slid to a stop when she realized Horu was not following her. She turned around and ran back to the dragonborn, "What in heaven's name do you think you're doing?" she asked. She heard the blood chuckle, "What, you care about one of our scaly kind?" he snickered, seeing that her hand was on Horu's shoulder in an attempt to get him to stop. "He's not blood, he's an honest Dragonborn," she hissed back, her golden eyes actually flashing.
Dante couldn't help but feel in a bit of a rush. If this group was here, their leader couldn't be too far behind. It was a battle Dante was sure to run away from than instead throwing her life to be snuffed out like a prayer candle. The dark scaled dragonborn looked to the light coloured one over him with the blade, "Please, your blade is worthless against us," he chortled, teasing, "But nonetheless my weak foe, what answers do you seek, hm?"
"He will only lie to you, no matter what you do," Dante said to Horu. "You would know, eh Vei-mera?" the blood chortled a laugh. Dante growled and rammed her staff into the Blood's adam's apple. "You keep that name to yourself you half breed or so help me I will put you in agony for the rest of your natural life," she growled.

"Honest dragonborns serve Bahamas. Followers of Bahamut do not HUNT humans. May blade and my faith will indeed harm you, hatchling, if you don't tell me who it is you serve and why it is you are chasing this woman. Mind it doesn't matter if you are chasing her for some miss deed to you. or your kind. Dragon born do not hunt for vengeance."
Dante, I'm sorry but this concerns me a great deal. and I will have answers." He said looking to her. Asking silenly that she let him deal with this.

"We are Bloodborns, followers of the god Ba'al," the dragon being hissed out after having his throat hit. "Ask your companion there, she knows all about us," he then snickered, "Being how our master wants her powerful form." The blood then managed to get a small bag out. He had pulled out a couple of smoke balls so he could make his escape. Which, naively, Dante let happen.
Within a puff of bluegray smoke, the horde of ten were gone. Dante hid her face in mild shame with her hand. "This is going to be a lot harder than I thought it was going to be," she muttered, letting a depressed sigh escape her. She awaited the stare she would most likely receive from Horu. Without him knowing it, she had unintentionally got him wrapped up in her war. "If you're wise," she started then, her cool composure being regained to her, "You'll try your damnedest to stay out of this," she warned, then beginning to move back in the same direction she had started off to from the start.

"Ba'al? But then..." They vanished. "They are NOT Dragonborns. Only Bahamut has the power to change creatures into dragonborns so this is something different." he said to himself. "Let's go." He said after a few seconds. He turned toward the path "Why not tell me what I've gotten myself into." He said as he started down the path.
"Why are they after you?" He asked

"Didn't you hear him?" Dante asked in a low tone, "they a bloodborns. Created by the god of black magic and lies," she informed him, "in relation, you are the angels, they are the demons." Dante sighed heavily when he asked what he had gotten himself into. "You don't want to know," she said, continuing to walk down the pathway. She brushed a few strands of her bright orange hair from her face, giving another small sigh.
"Why?" she then repeated to his question. That actually made her think on how to explain why they were after her. "They believe me to be some goddess and want to use me to achieve some higher form of power," she said the best she knew how. She tapped her thin fingers to her pale lips. The absolute real reason to why they were after her was a complete mystery. All she did know is that they had been following her around since her exile from China. Her eyes closed for a moment as she took a deep breath of the fresh air from this area, she was sure as soon as she stepped into the city, that would be the end of the fresh air.

"But that doesn't make sense. The only got that is truly against Bahamut is Taimat, his sister. Unless That five headed dragon wench is soliciting help from some one else. "I would be nclined to think that this is just coincidence. But then why these Draconic vassals. This only tells me that The rival my god is in on it some how. The only thing that might confirm that is if... Nah she wouldn't send one of Her disciples here. At least I hope not."
"A goddess? Heh, no your quite beautiful but I doubt a mortal could..." Wait what did he say? He decided it was a fluke. But he hadn't lied. "Anyway, it may have been inevitable that I be dragged into this." he noted. "I can fight these feinds but knowing the differences between them and my self would help."

"Must you think everything is about your religion? They are not against your god, they are against me and my god. Ba'al would never trust his concubine with such warriors. She is too blinded by her petty desires," Dante said with a slight growl. "This is a war you shouldn't try and place yourself into Horu, it will surely be your demise," she warned again.
Dante arched her brow at his comment. It was better that he assumed she was merely human, for Yang was surely something to be ashamed of. Dante slowed to a stop when he asked the difference between himself and the Bloods. Her golden eyes looked to him intently. "For one, they were beings although human in appearance were nothing human at all. Murderers, sociopaths that wanted to take over the world and mortal monsters that got no better pleasure than to rip the lives from other. Secondly, They are created by demonic measures, there is no divine creation, there is only possession," she explained bitterly, "They are in no way human, never were, and never will be."
Dante gripped her staff tightly and began to walk again down the path over hung by trees. It was a well worn path, but still not one where bandits would come to try and filch their next claim. As she walked, she remembered something her sensei had told her before she had killed him. You are our warrior, this was destined. Your destiny will lead you to a dragon. The Dragon will help you create balance in the universe again.... "Crazy old man," she muttered, her golden eyes looking up again and continuing to walk down the path.

Horu let out a heavy sight. "I guess you have a point. But It still makes me wonder why the form would be draconic." Maybe there was no reason. Still things where very odd. For a while there after they walk in silence till the Sun reach the edge of the western horizon. They where Just above the treeline, and Caves dotted the mountain side.
"It's getting late we should get ready to rest. No use navigating a mountain at night." He said. We can just use one of these shallow caves for shelter, make a fire, and then choose who takes first watch."

Dante nodded slowly as they came to a stop. "That one over there is vacant," she said, pointing to the middle cave of five. Her golden eyes looked towards the dragonborn for a moment. She could sense much good in him, and she found the feeling to put her at ease. Her short hair whipped around in a breeze that was generating from the south of them. It was a cool breeze that barely penetrated the thick cloth adorning her frame.
"It takes me a long time to get myself anywhere near getting to sleep, I'll take first watch," she said. It was more of a demand than it was an offer. She approached the cave as she picked up logs and twigs. "You have the blade, I assume you'll be out gathering the wood?" she asked with a brow arching. She continued to near the cave until inside, throwing the wood she had gathered to the ground.
