Head to the Kingdom of Avaren. There you will learn much, and meat many. Trouble is brewing and the people may need my help, and I need you to act on my behalf. Go forth adventure awaits.
The memory of that voice, the voice of his god, still echoed clearly on his mind. He was Off for adventure something he had hoped to seek on his own anyway but he was doing it now with a higher purpose.
Walking down a narrow mountain path. was what from far away looked like a man. But a closer look would reveal that his face was nothing near human. A blunted snout, rusty-red leathery skin, golden eyes fixed in a raptor like gaze. He was a Dragonborn. he was dressed in a heavy traveling cloak. that was wrapped around him. hiding his sword, and his armor. and his hood was partially drawn over his head. He Had the ability to take a human disguise, but there was no need as far as he saw at the moment.
The path he was walking upend up becoming a cliff-side path He looked down and saw a forest off in the distance and after that a large shimmering lake. that was just out side the walls, which from her looked tiny, of the grand Kingdom of Avaren. He stopped to admire the picture perfect scene. Happy to be out and about.

Clean white and dusty orange clothing blew in a soft breeze as Dante's yellow eyes looked down into the valley which contained the kindom of Avaren. Her short and bright orange hair danced around whimsically. This woman was a shaolin, once her ability had increased to where no human could sustain any blows from her hand, she had massacred her dojo of over two hundred innocents. Blood which she did not let stain her hands. Dante sighed heavily as she leaned on the red applewood staff she held in her hand. It was about 5'11" and towering over her body's size of 5'2 1/2".
"The journey has only begun," she said in a soft tone. Her tan hands moved the strap on the staff around her right shoulder. She turned quickly when she saw someone, something, several feet away. "What is that thing...?" she asked herself as she watched silently with the hopes she wouldn't be spotted.

One of the great things about being up this high, was that it was quiet. The air was brisk, and too thin for any trees to grow, while it wasn't quite cold enough to form ice. The actual ice cap on this particular mountain was about another fifty yards up. Also there where very few animals that braved these heights. In the distance he saw a vulture circling and he had passed some goats a few hours back. SO as far as he knew he was alone.
He stopped he could have swore he hear gravel shifting. And he wondered for a minute of he had stumbled into another goat's territory. Maybe he had pissed off the matriarch. But then the sound abruptly stopped like something was suddenly being more careful. He was being followed.
He drew his sword it was long and curved, the blade was thick and it handle a little long but it seemed quite balanced in one hand. and looked just right in the hands of the muscular dragonborn. "Show your self, I am in no mood for a fight, nor am I wanting to make enemy's."

"If you are in no mood for a fight, then why do you draw your blade?" Dante questioned from her distance. It was merely twenty yards to this being's left. Dante neatly folded her hands in peace behind her back and her golden gaze returned to the valley below. Dante stayed silent, with the brutish strength she could feel from that demonic body she could have herself in quick trouble if she didn't play her cards right.
Dante slowly closed her eyes for a moment before reopening them. Her staff's shadow was fading as the sun started to disappear down behind the hill. She let out a small sigh, she had yet to find any lodgings or yet to get food for herself and this person might just end up tying up a bit of her time. Dante simply waited for the scaled person to approach her, if he was curious and brave enough it was.

"My blade is drawn in defense. From my stand point it is you that is stalking me. I am in no mood to fight but, i am in less of a mood to loose my life." He explained lowering the sword. He wasn't sheathing it till he knew he was safe. "Once again I ask you to show yourself. If we are merely headed in the same direction maybe it would be more... advantageous to work together." He was at the moment oblivious to the fact that his form was somewhat frightening. He was use to being reveaer for his faith as his draconian, NOT demonic, form was proof of his faith.
He thought for a moment. He looked up to the sky and hoped for the best. Then sheathed his weapon. The sound of Metal scraping against hard leather and the click of metal on metal as the Sword was secured signaled its departure. "My name is Horu, I'm a Paladin, and you are?" He hoped that him showing that he was willing to put down his weapon woul entice who ever it was to do the same.

Dante finally turned towards the dragonborn. She had noticed his appearance when he had approached closer. Her yellow eyes remained calm and steady on this rough form. "You are a contridiction to yourself Dragonborn," she said. Her hands were folded neatly behind her, her white and orange sleeves blowing softly in the breeze. "You wish no harm to come to yourself, but you are first to draw upon your weapon," she stated, then giving a small chuckle. She always found it odd how the closer she came to this kingdom, the more paranoid the people became.
"And yes, I am heading into this vast kingdom," she replied, closing her golden eyes for a moment. She looked to the man for a moment when he asked for her name. She did rather appreciate it that he had put his blade down. "My name is Dante, what I am is of no concern to you," she stated, her form still calm as she spoke.

"Your name will suffice. Please forgive my odd behavior. I've never been outside my home land so I don't quite know what to expect." He felt a little embarrassed that he had acted so... paranoid. "So you know of my kind?" he asked looking up at her. He was looking up only because she was on higher ground. "Then you know that even with out a blade I am not unarmed."
Even as he was saying this he didn't really feel threatened. She was only human. as fare as he could tell but there was something more that he couldn't quite place."So anyway, why are you going to Avaren?"

"There is really nothing to fear Horu," she said. Dante pulled her staff from her back and held onto it like a walking stick. "I do know of that, but some are not as worldly as I," she replied, her eyes narrowing slightly. "I know of your fallen kindred," she said, a small sigh coming from the woman's throat. "Under their new master they have taken a liking to following me around," she explained.
A ruffle in the tall grass behind the two caught her attention. Dante merely looked towards the sound but made no grand gesture that she had caught on. Of course, this was in part why she was traveling to this busy kingdom. To try and escape her followers among the crowds and buildings. The kingdom was large enough it would take a while for anyone to find her if they desired. Dante continued to stare down in the valley silently, looking once to Horu to see if he had noticed the sound.
She was giving him the subtle hint that he should remain acting as if he was unawares to the stalking thief. "Ah, I am coming to this grand city in hope I could find refuge among it's sturdy walls," she said.

"My fallen kindred?" He asked suddenly wondering what he meant. Where there those that went to the the other god. He hadn't heard of such, but that's the only thing he could think of. He shook the idea off not really wanting to think about it when he heard something moving near by. He saw in Dante's eyes that she had noticed too but she was acting as if she hadn't so he followed suit.
"I'm on a mission I guess. I was just told to go to Avaren that its people would need some help. But that's about all I know. He said casually resting his hands on the pummel of his sword.

Black tinted scales shimmered in the dying sun. "now," a raspy voice whispered. Soon about ten black coloured dark dragonborn leapt from the tall grass at the orange haired woman. She had taken her staff and had used it to inflict deadly pressure point blows to their chests as they lunged at her. After she had about four down, the rest just surrounded her. They paid no mind to the light Dragonborn nearby.
"Just leave me be and go back to your god of lies!" Dante shouted at them. She gripped tightly on the red and gold staff in her hand. "We can't do that missy, our leader wants a little word with you," One hissed, the rest chuckling. "I will not go with you, even if it costs me my life you filthy bloods," she snapped. She pushed herself up and over them then with her staff, landing silently a mere foot away from Horu's side. When they rushed her again, she had dropped her staff. Within moments, the small woman had knocked each of them out before her staff had even hit the ground. Dante picked up her red and gold staff, grabbing the light Dragonborn by the arm.
"Let's get out of here before they realize what has happened to them," she said. This time she had looked the dragonborn straight in the face. There was no sense of fear in her eyes when she looked to him, no shudder at the sensation of his odd skin. She waited for him to reply before moving, running at a speed that seemed impossible for a human.
