Two days had passed since her meeting with Lily, and Vivian sat by the lake once more. She stared at the water, looking at her reflection and smiled a bit. Vivian had been hoping to meet 'Mr. Death', and thanks to meeting Lily, she finally had a chance. The birds sang gently as the girl sighed and looked at the water, and soon a frown was on her face.
Even if she was face to face with Mr. Death, she couldn't shake off the fact that she would be hiding from him in a sense. Her real self....her real body...she could only assume the worst if she were to show him. Standing up, she took a breath and shook her head. "I can't do it..." she muttered, and went to leave the vicinity.

Kael'in walked out of the trees, after what felt like a eternity of trees. Oh, how he hated being enclosed in forests... He wasn't claustrophobic in the typical sense, but he reacted that was to only such an abundance of grown trees that nothing else could be seen. Then again, he was willing to put up with this discomfort for the veiw that the lake promised. From what Dar'ian had told him, it was truly breathtakingly beautiful! The first thing that caught his eye, was the lake in the distance, with a barriar of trees on the horizon, on the other side of the lake. The trees' rippling reflection upon the water drew his eyes to the near bank, where he noticed a woman sitting near the water.
As he neared closer, he noticed she was young and attractive. There was also something about her that seemed a little 'off'. Maybe it was his mage training and his amplified gifts, but he could sense that she wasn't all together human. She appeared to be, but he got a magical signiture from her that was something he'd never encountered before. Not that it really mattered to him, he was used to running into non humans or only part humans. Though it did make him interested in meeting her...
As he normally did when encountering new people, he quickly rechecked the defences on his mind, and finding them fully up and intact, he approached. "Hello, I'm Kael'in" He felt it was pretty safe to be this friendly with her since Dar'ian wasn't too far away. From his telepathic link, he could tell Dar'ian was near the edge of the trees, just about to emerge from the forest. He'd stopped to examine some interesting plants, but Kael'in hadn't been comfortable enough in the forest to delay his exit even for a minute.

Having been certain she could just leave, Vivian nearly panicked when someone spoke to her. The girl nearly jumped to the conclusion that the person was Mr. Death, but soon realized it wasn't. "O-Oh...Hello...I'm Vivian..It's nice to meet you." she replied politely. Her eyes scanned the area around them, as if she had checked to see if anyone else was around. She was hoping to the heavens she could just pass by, but began to weigh the outcomes.
If she left now, she wouldn't have to worry about rejection...but on the other hand, she'd never know how things could turn out. "D..Did you happen to see a blond haired boy around? One who responds to the name 'Mr. Death?' " she questioned, seeking peace of mind. She took a breath in an attempt to calm herself.

Kael'in hadn't meant to startle her. Actually, he'd meant quite the opposite and by announcing his presence had thought that she'd be more at ease at a stranger's presence then if she just bumped into him. Apparently, that hadn't worked too well... Oh well, may as well work with the current situation. Smiling, he said "Pleasure to meet you, Vivian", offering his hand.
He was a bit surprised when she asked about a blond haired boy. Particularly, one going by the 'name' Mr. Death... This was getting more and more interesting by the minute, but alas he knew he should probably take his leave. It looked like she was expecting the boy and judging the way she asked about the boy, it was probably not something a stranger should be listening in on... "A blond boy? No sorry... Haven't seen anyone around here...." It didn't mean that he had to leave right this minute, as the boy hadn't shown up yet. "beautiful view her, isn't it?"

Dar'ian was just coming out of the forest when he heard footsteps nearby. His instincts told him to check it out, as he hadn't expected for anyone to be that nearby. After all, Kael'in was out by the lake by now... Then again, he'd been a little preoccupied with the plants. They'd been ones that were rare to the area, and yet he'd seen such an abundance of them here. He found it odd, and there was that stink of magic to them here too... He'd decided it wasn't anything to concern himself with as a being that was malicious would not waste magical power on transplanting rare flora. He turned around and headed in the direction of the noise. It wasn't too far down the path through the trees to his right.
Walking into a small clearing, he saw a blond boy. He wondered whether it was the same boy that Kael'in had been asked about just moments before. "Hey there, I'm Dar'ian" he said grinning. This was definitely not a human! He wondered who it was... "Um, are you by any chance 'Mr. Death' ? he asked with a feeling that he sounded like a total fool. It was, after all, a rather unusual name... Though if the boy was this 'Death', he'd love to find out how he'd come by that name. He also figured that so would Kael'in!

It was finally the day, Liam would finally find out who this 'secret admirer' was. He took a usual routine, leaving the home he shared with Lily and taking a normal route past countless trees towards the lake. His heart began to race, as he was nervous to meeting this admirer of his. So many questions, only one way to find out. He stopped at a clearing and decided to get a view from here. Hiding behind one of the trees, he could see the lake, and apparently two figures.
Heart sinking, the elf guessed it was probably a mix-up and he wouldn't put it past anyone to confuse him for another. Despite his profession, he wasn't famous in Avaren. Sighing softly, he decided to take his leave, only to hear someone call out to him. Turning around, he saw the person and was worried. How did this person know his nick-name? He never met this man before. "Please, call me Liam.." he replied in a polite tone, not denying he was called 'Mr. Death' at times. "May I ask why you are interested?" he questioned, meaning 'why do you ask?'

Dar'ian had to think. It was apparently the man that that woman had been asking about. Now how did he tell him why he'd asked without letting him find out about his telepathy... This was gonna be a hard one, he realized. After a few moments of thought, he decided that it might just be better to tell him right off. It wasn't like the whole telepathic link thing was a closely guarded secret... just that they didn't broadcast it from the rooftops.
Grinning to himself, he explained that a woman by the lake had just asked his friend whether he'd seen him. And since he didn't see anyone else around here that fit the description, he assumed...

Hearing the man's explanation, Liam blinked in confusion and sighed. "Makes enough sense." he replied, and looked a the other two while still keeping his hiding spot. He had no clue what he should do now. He could just walk to her and greet her, but then there was always the chance that this could be a trick. He could also just walk away, but he'd never know what would happen then.

Sighing in both relief and disappointment, Vivian smiled and sat down near the edge of the lake, just so she could be more comfortable while being social with this new person. Hearing the man's comment about the view, she nodded. "It is beautiful." she agreed, and stretched a little. She always enjoyed the water, and this lake was no different. Were it not for something about her, she would have been swimming all day long.

[OCC: sorry about the feable post, but I'm doing this on an ipod in class lol]
Kael'in smiled and waited for dar'ian. He'd just gotten a message from Dar'ian that he'd found the boy, but also got the feeling that something was a bit off. Like there was more to this then there seemed. Oh, well. It wasn't his problem. He made his excuses - something about getting back to work- and walked back in to the forest. In reality, he was going to Dar'ian, his curiosity peaked by the boy's behaviour.
