Stranger In The Night

[Iris Cane]

"...I sleep on the wall..." Iris whispered. She knew they were the same. They did not have homes.

[Dart]

"really? im sorry im going to try and leave this place all i have is the sword on my side so its light travle" he forced a smile

[Iris Cane]

Iris looked down, she knew it might happen, find someone like herself, but then find out they were going to leave. She couldn't stop one tear from sliding down her face, she wiped it away hoping he didn't see it. She looked back up and forced a smile back. "I can't leave here, to many...memories..."Her voice was soft, her slight accent making the words sadder in a way.

[Dart]

he saw her wipe her cheek "are you ok?"

[Iris Cane]

Iris knew he saw her cry, and she looked down again, "Yes im fine..." But her voice cracked slightly. She knew he would hear it.

Dart put his hand on her sholder "hey its ok im sure we will get out of this and get homes and money and all that no need to cry" his voice was soft

[Iris Cane]

She knew it was silly, she knew she shouldn't, but right there in front of someone she just met, Iris started crying silently. She knew he could feel her shaking. But at that moment she wanted someone to know her pain, to see how hard life was fo her.

[Dart]

Dart hugged her "hey its going to be ok" he knew how she felt he spent a lot of time alone too this is the first time he had met someone who felt the same way

[Iris Cane]

Iris hugged and didn't let go, she cried into his shoulder, shaking. She was glad that he knew how she felt, and she was glad she wasn't alone anymore.

[Dart]

"I might stay here for a few more weeks" he let her cry but kep talking "i will stay right here at night and sleep how does that sound?"
